Get More Out Of Life
The Friendship Blueprint
A course on turning connection into friendship, powered by Stitch
About
The science and practice of deeper friendships
Most of us don't realize how much our lives would benefit from deeper, more meaningful friendships. Building friendship is a critically important, learnable skill that people tend to overlook or even dismiss—but not here.
Stitch is the world's largest social community for people over 50, where people connect over shared interests, activities and events. But how do we turn connection into real, lifelong friendship?
The Friendship Blueprint exists because so many of us want to know how to get the most out of life. It's a six week course with online learning and in-person events in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The course is led by Knitted, a group of experts on human connection. It's offered in collaboration with the San Francisco Chronicle, so you can create a community of friends right where you are.
Course content:
Week 1: Why relationships are the #1 driver of our well-being
Week 2: Discover who you are as a friend (your friendship style) and the friendship styles of the people around you
Week 3: How limiting friendship beliefs affect us and new mindsets to adopt
Week 4: How to lower the “barrier” to friendship by creating friendship experiments
Week 5: How to create a “friendship practice” plan
Week 6: Why and how to befriend yourself

Praise for Stitch
Thousands of people over 50 call the Stitch social community life-changing
I really enjoy Stitch! There are many, many activities to choose from. The teams I encounter most go far out of their way to be welcoming, friendly, supportive and open to suggestions. I have so many more opportunities to be active, with company and such a variety of activities. Have been a member for almost 8 months now. It's been life changing for me.

I've been in stitch about five years now. It's a safe Heaven to meet people on your wavelength, that you would not normally meet in everyday life. I've met up with several people from other countries which is an opportunity I would not have had but for stitch. As with most things, the more you put into stitch, the more you get out of it.

I have been a member of Stitch for over 10 years. I have met with other members both in person, and online (mostly during the pandemic, but still have some weekly meetings that I go to online). I have had meals with other Stitch members, gone to Stitch parties, gone to comedy clubs with other members. It is a wonderful way to meet people and make friends.
